Notice of Surcharge Update
Compensation for Breach of Agreement (CBA)

Dear Valued Customer,

We would like to remind our valued customers of the importance of providing accurate cargo declarations to ensure smooth processing and compliance with safety regulations. To support safe and efficient operations, please ensure all cargo is declared correctly. Discrepancies between declared and actual cargo may result in additional charges under our Compensation for Breach of Agreement (CBA) process. The new level for charges will be applicable across all trade lanes and services and will be valid until further notice.

Voluntary amendment request made by the customer before or after the arrival at the destination due to concealing, omitting or misdeclaring any particulars in the description of goods at the booking stage.

USD 3,000/Unit

USD 15,000/Unit

Amendment forced by ONE who found a misalignment between the declared information during the usual checking stage for concealment, omission or misdeclaration of any particulars in the description of goods.

USD 6,000/Unit

USD 30,000/Unit

Non-FMC regulated trades                                                                                1st January, 2026

FMC regulated trades*, Canada                                                                        1st January, 2026

(*United States, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, Hawaii)

 

Note:
1. Applicable to non-hazardous cargos with special declaration requirements, including but not limited to goods with special stowage, special loading, non-hazardous chemicals, and batteries.
2. Shipment shall be declared in accordance with the designated authority’s regulations and full cargo compliance.
3. ONE has the right to withhold release of the goods and refuse any bill of lading or other document amendment(s) until the customer pays the Misdeclaration Charge.
4. For the list of prohibited cargo, please refer to tariff rules ONEY-101 Rule 2.061 and ONEY-202 Rule 2.025.
